GA Release of Titanium SDK 7.3.0 & CLI 7.0.5

Today, we published General Availability releases of AMPLIFY™ Titanium SDK and Appcelerator CLI. These are minor releases that address high priority issues from previous releases. The releases include 14 new features, 36 improvements and 86 bug fixes. For a more detailed overview, known issues and closed tickets, see the release notes:

Update Titanium SDK

Studio users will be prompted to update the SDK.

To update the Titanium SDK from the command line:

[appc] ti sdk install latest

Update Appcelerator CLI

Studio users will be prompted to update the CLI.

To update the CLI from the command line:

appc use latest

Report bugs

If you run into any issues that seem related to the updates, please report them on JIRA.

First, check if it’s a known issue you can watch. If you can’t find an existing ticket, then create one in the Appcelerator Community (AC) project and add as much relevant information as you can, including the release version you are using.

  1. Many memory issues in Android are resolved and a better app start! Very nice release. Solid ground work for future updates! Will update my apps as soon as possible

    App fail to run with the following error

    [ERROR] : V8Exception: Exception occurred at ti:/invoker.js:101: Uncaught Error: abstract method “java.lang.String[] org.appcelerator.kroll.util.KrollAssetHelper$AssetCrypt.getAssetPaths()”

    • Hey Ray! I opened TIMOB-26335 for you and we are looking into possible reasons for it. Thanks for reporting this!

    • Ray, do you have a full stack trace that you can share? I’m not sure how that’s happening to you… and that error message alone doesn’t tell us what’s causing it.

        when the file:test.png is not existed in the resource directory.
