Jeff Haynie
Jeff is Co-founder and CEO of Appcelerator. Jeff is a long-time serial entrepreneur, technologist and blogger. Previously, Jeff was Co-founder and CTO of Vocalocity, a software provider in the communications arena and before that, CTO of eHatchery, a digital incubator and off-shoot of Bill Gross’ idealab!. Jeff has worked on numerous standard committees such as IETF and W3C as well as core contributor to a number of important open source technologies such as JBoss and OpenVXI. Nolan is the CTO of Appcelerator. Before co-founding Appcelerator, Nolan led engineering and product management for Vocalocity, a VoiceXML platform company. Nolan started his career at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture), and then went to work for Netscape. Nolan graduated from Vanderbilt University with a degree in Electrical Engineering.Mike Asher
Mike is responsible for all of Appcelerator’s global finance and administration operations. Most recently, he served as CFO for Greenplum, where he grew the company from $2 million through its acquisition to EMC. Prior to Greenplum, Michael served as the CFO for newScale (acquired by Cisco) and before that VP of Finance for Octane Software (acquired by Ephiphany). Michael received his Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from the University of California Berkeley, where he also earned his MBA in finance at the Walter A. HaaS School of Business.Trenton Truitt
Trenton is responsible for expanding Appcelerator’s customer base, and growing new customer segments that map to Titanium-powered solutions. Previously Truitt was regional vice president for EMC’s Information Intelligence Group, and held numerous sales positions at companies including Documentum, Asera and Parametric Technology Corporation. He graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration from the California Maritime Academy.Mark Aronica
Mark oversees support, consulting, and training to enable customer success. Mark has over 20 years of services experience. Most recently he was with VMware where he spent 8 years helping the organization grow from 300 to 13,000 employees. While at VMware he built the Technical Account Manager program, started their emerging markets services business, and ran services WW for their Cloud Business Unit. He grew each program to over a $30M business and was responsible for the integration of multiple acquisitions. Mark is also an alumnus of Accenture and has a Masters from Harvard University with advanced coursework at MIT.Gamiel Gran
Gamiel is responsible for the global partner strategy for Appcelerator. Gamiel joined Appcelerator after almost 5 years as a Partner at Sierra Ventures, where he was a responsible for the Sierra Ventures CIO Advisory Board. Previously, Gamiel was VP of Business Development at Cassatt Corporation (acquired by CA Technologies), VP Global Channel Sales at Edify Software (acquired by Intervoice and later Convergys), and VP Strategic Alliances at BEA (acquired by Oracle). He also ran Channel Sales for North America at Oracle and held various sales management roles at IBM Corporation. Gamiel holds a BA from the University of California at Berkeley. He is a California native, and lives in Portola Valley with his wife of more than 24 years and his 3 children.Neeraj Gupta
Neeraj is responsible for engineering and IT operations worldwide for Appcelerator’s integrated mobile platform. He joined Appcelerator as part of Particle Code acquisition, where he was the VP of Engineering overseeing the development of cross platform mobile SDK and games. Prior to Particle Code, he held various engineering roles at Informix, Oracle and other startups. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Institute of Engineering and Technology, India and an MBA from University of California, Berkeley.Lyla Kuriyan McInerney
Lyla leads all of Appcelerator’s marketing efforts. Previously, Lyla was at Google where she managed the Consumer Operations teams responsible for the community management for over 30 products including Google web search, Chrome, Earth, Google Maps for Mobile and more. Prior to Google, Lyla was a Vice President of Global Marketing at SAP and also held marketing and leadership roles at 2 startups. Early in her career, she was an International Economist at the U.S. Treasury Department. Lyla has a B.A. from Bowdoin College and a MPP from Harvard University.Jonathan Rende
Jonathan is responsible for product management and marketing for Appcelerator’s integrated mobile platform, including Titanium, Titanium Studio, and Appcelerator cloud and analytics products. Previously, he was Vice President and General Manager for HP Software’s $1 billion Application Lifecycle Management business. With more than 20 years of experience in the industry, Rende has held various product roles at Mercury, Informix and Lockheed. He holds a bachelor of science in engineering from the University of California, Davis and an MBA from Santa Clara University.Advisors
